Am originally from North of their. Can gets to God’s Country in less than 40 minutes.

Was a very good day. Learned my BIL only saw one deer yesterday while hunting. While my son and I were walking through the woods, we got within about 35 yards of them. Great nature moments with my nature loving son.

Bought some jeans yesterday. Size 31" down from 36" six months ago when I started swimming. In comparison, my 23-year old son, who is built like a muscular, soccer playing, mac truck has a 32" waste.

Waiting for my wife to finish her morning schtick to head out to the pool and then shop for a leather lounger to put 8-10 feet in front of my extend and swivel mounted 75" tv. Gonna get one that has electronic push-button adjustments for the head, back and legs with a USB jack; and nothing less.

Depending on where we buy it and whether it is in stock, it could get delivered as soon as today or tomorrow!

Oh, and one last thing: M Go Blue!: and: Oh, how I hate Ohio State! Should be a GREAT match today...

Morning all, my Thanksgiving induced comma has passed, I do not feel Iike a beached whale today.

Took the lads for a 10 mile run this morning, they loved it. We are definatly moving into this is not fun outdoor time for Chihuahuas. I took the 2 of them out for 5 minutes and they were done.

Smoking a brisket today with hickory. Marinade it 24 hours in nice Balsamic vinegar cut 50 % with spring water. We are starting Xmas decorating today.

Good Saturday Morning! Just 51° on the way to 61°today.

Glad to be back online, spent yesterday and last night getting the MAC updated to the OS x Catalina just so I can run the new version of TurboTax. I've been putting it off for month because I had to change the hard drive formatting to allow the new OS to install. I'm still getting email message re-imported.

Michigan did what they had to do. Ran the ball. Likely Harbaugh's job was on the line. He's 0-5 against OSU.

1-5 now.

It was a great holiday so far. Starting to get a little long though.

Football ⚽🏈 Sunday, Cyber Monday, last game with a cigar and a splash of something.

Wife made some mac and cheese and tots for the kids, and chili beans for us.

Naturally I just dumped some of all of it into a bowl, put some cheese on it, then dumped some Dave's Ghost Pepper Sauce all over it.

Life is good.

Why can't you do that in Russia?

Do they not have mac n cheese? Tater tots? Hot sauce or chili beans?

Depends on what the rations are that week.............. tater tots , hot sauce and chili beans are doubtful.Usually they distribute bread and cheese

Good morning all!

We are in LA. ( Joy Joy Happy Happy. ) Tomorrow I have a TEE procedure. Tuesday I have an ablation. We will spend the rest of the week in LA. The hospital is Cedar Siani. Sandy gets to shop for 5 days. Our credit card is already melting, LMFAO! I think I will get a floor length Coyote coat for winter warmth and to see if anyone has the balls to try to throw blood on me. PETA sucks!!!

Three eggs, some has browns, a breakfast sausage, two coffees and a 30 minute dog walk.

Setting the dial to Slug Mode the rest of the day.

^You're way ahead of me.

One cup of coffee, no food yet, no dog walk... still in PJ's. Was debating the walk or the park and we went to the park yesterday. My slug ass needs that 4 mile walk more than he does. Especially after the Thanksgiving day meal.

*sigh*

Walk it is.

Hawaiian roll french toast, and a pour of bourbon before 9:00am really set the tone for my day.

Beautiful 51/78 day in the neighborhood. Wifey mentioned that we have not heard the AC kick in for over a month which makes my miserly ass feel good. Went for a 5 miler followed by a cigar on the sunny patio and took the Vette out for a romp. Time to settle and watch some football.

Thanksgiving left overs, then a beverage with some alcohol. All cigared out over the last three days.

Two miles down the road from Rams Packers. Rams are getting a break with the weather. Estimated 35 degrees and only 12 mph winds at kick off.

King’s Bakery? Think

Oops, I meant King’s Hawaiian Bakery.

They used to have multiple bakery / 24 hour coffee shop locations but closed everything down after they moved their production and distribution facilities to the Mainland.

Did a turkey, veggie and wild rice soup made from leftovers in crock pot. It's yummy. Perfect little meal to fill the gullet. I'll freeze a few helpings for the future.

Kind of a gray day, looks like it might snow. They are getting flurries near the coast, nothing inland here yet.

I predict a nap in the near future.

Neighbor kid is coming over later. I need to resurrect his laptop. His school had him install some software something or other for remote learning last year and it hasn't worked right since then. Something to turn it into or emulate a Chromebook (??). First look at it... I'm confused on what he/they installed. I'm not familiar with Chrome OS. I may have to do a clean reinstall and start from scratch.

Tree four NINE!

Post #350 - reminds me of the GM engine.

When I went to eat at the King’s Hawaiian Bakery restaurant in Torrance(?) in ‘93, thought the use of “Hawaiian” was okay since it helped differentiate them from other establishments. However, once they closed down their operations in Hawaii and moved everything to the Mainland, felt it was disingenuous. Then again, it was an established name so changing it would, probably, have been bad for their business.
