How 's it going?

80F high with a five mph breeze and 47% chance of rain.
Got a renewal appointment with my mmj doc today.
Nothing else on the schedule, so I will probably just lay around all day long and get some much needed sleep.
Hope everyone's day goes well!

Sigh (trademark, Bloody Spaniard).

May need to put a squad together.

Frank, Drafter, MACS and me. Destination: Las Vegas to have a discussion with another party. People being unkind is partially the way of the world. Intentionally hurting people I care for is difficult for me.

Moving from Defcom 4 Above normal readiness to Defcom 3 ready to mobilize, Increase in force readiness above that required for normal readiness.

Got the Stand Down request. Honoring that.

Happy Friday!

We've reached 50 degress. Dog walked, oatmeal done, coffee almost complete. Rumbling in the tummy has us targeting a splashdown in less than 30 minutes.

Up... had coffee... dropped deuce... walked dog... picked up his THREE deuces.

Showered, had some key lime yogurt, an apple and a banana. About to take the wife's hoopdie to the glass shop for a new windshield. Got a small crack in it about a year ago... it's now a big crack.

They say it'll be about an hour and a half... so that seems like an invitation to bring Tank, walk the 2 blocks to Ye Olde Towne Pub and have a beer and a doggie treat while we wait.

Thankfully she doesn't have the fancy windshield with the lane departure sensors... that would have been $1,800. Just the rain sensor... so "only" $410. d'oh!

$500 deductible... so the $410 was on my dime. If it was the other windshield, yes... I would have called USAA. And been out $500 while they paid the rest.

I had 2 beers at da Pub.

Tank had a buncha treats and a whole lotta lady kisses. The waitresses adore him... and he likes them, too.

He's a bonafide broad magnet. Beer

Wheel and I always used the word broad... and it irritates my older sisters... so you're stuck with it.

Especially when the broads rub his belly... but he's good... he got no nuts, so he can't get them preggo.

I'd like to think he couldn't get the broads who rub his belly pregnant anyway.

Morning, weekenders. Storms today, but supposed to be warm, so I've got that going for me

Chamber of Commerce day:

78F with a 6 mile breeze. Tonight has a 47% chance of rain, but that wouldn't happen until late this evening (and we are in a drought so we need it).

Got my mmj Rx yesterday and found a great deal on flower at one of my favorite dispensaries.

Nothing else planned this weekend thus far, except for a possible day at the beach tomorrow my best friend's beach condo.

If I don't see anyone on the vherf tonight, I wish you all a great weekend!

Beautiful 63 this morning so after my 5 miler I got the Yeti out and did a leisurely 5 miles more. Been awhile since I have been on the bike and the knee complained but it was just too nice a morning. Showered and shaved. Nothing left but layabout, beer/cigar and repeat. Getting into the 90s in the afternoon but the pool water is a little too cold yet.

Happy weekend folks.

Took pupper on a short walk, but stopped in a park to play fetch. Wore him out chasing his ball.

He's napping... and that sounds like a brilliant idea.

Mines coming up soon too.

Kinda pissed off about it cause the last two years they've said use whatever respirator you can find. Or just a mask if theres none left. Cause we didn't have enough to go around. But now they have enough and are doing annual fit testing again.

They kept ours rolling

Stay away from others. No gatherings. Meetings by phone. No shared lunches. But have everyone in the plant pass through the same small room within a week? Hellz yeah

Had a decent yard sale today...
Plus I got a lot of other stuff done at the same time..

I am not a multitasker at all...but I was today
....

I usually 90% of the time do one task
..one task only...

But I do have my moments.

Low 40s on the way to mid 60s. Gotta do a little work around the house. Put up one of those wall mural wallpaper thingies so I'll need to move a dresser and bed around to get behind them. Prolly go get some of those furniture slider things to make it easier to move them. Polly go for a walk to get some fresh air and enjoy a nice spring day.

Prolly should think about buying some soil to fill the containers for container gardening. {thinking.... thinking....} DONE. That's enough thinking for the day. I'll get the soil another day.

Assemble a lasagna for supper. Kids don't like lasagna (who doesn't like lasagna?) so prolly just order out for them.

Well, we occasionally stop in to Duke's or Ye Olde Towne Pub for a beer.

Those 2 spots are dog friendly and bring him water and treats. The pub has dog treats... Duke's is a BBQ joint and the owner's wife loves him so he gets tri-tip trimmings. He likes Duke's better.
