Wow. That's all I'm gonna say.
To be fair, since she bought the solo stove last spring it's been pretty much part of the morning chores to toss it in the wagon, drag it out back and dump in the burn pit when you let the chickens out in the morning.
But she dumped it into the wagon instead of taking it whole out back. I've done that too, so I can't fault her.
Also in her defense, the wood she dumped this morning in the yard after the cart caught fire burned my left hand enough to blister when I picked it up tonight. Had some long long long burning logs on the fire last night it seems.
Just a perfect storm situation. Yeah, it could've been avoided but it could've been me or her dumping the fireplace into the wagon, I can't be mad.
Though... I always dump and take it straight to the burn pit. She dumped and went on to water her plants. Had it gone straight to the burn pit there probably wouldn't have been any noticeable damage.
I'll just replace the floor with a slab of plywood and call it a day.
