When I was in college I still had my military ID and when I came home on weekends I would stock up at the commissary/base exchange.

Got a great haircut today at the base barber shop - $13. I was paying $20 for a haircut plus tip.

Hall ceiling painted and first coat on the trim. Now waiting on color choice for the walls. I'm not privileged like Hockey Dad. Colors are not up to me

Wednesday through Friday Old Guy Driver tweaked his back. Was offered and accepted a run to just north of Janesville. Picking up an engine. Appleton traffic at 7:00 isn’t great. Madison Beltline traffic 8:30 is probably worse.

If wife and I successfully reunite at the end of the day, we might High Five each other as our celebration of our 27th wedding anniversary. Better not celebrate too soon. She has just over three hours to divorce me and scuttle the whole shabang.

there's a fairly new Tree House spot on the Cape, in Sandwich just over the bridge.
And Truro Vineyards at the far end of the Cape was kinda fun when we went a few years ago.

You fellas are too kind. It’s been a lot easier for me to be married to her than the reverse. Am blessed to have her, an excellent son, and a psychotic greyhound.

Now if I could sleep for another 170 minutes so I can get on the road and back to my hammock by the early afternoon, all the better.

Thought about it many times but too cold in the winter and no better weather than Scottsdale in the winter. We continue to debate. It’s not inexpensive to maintain two places but so far they are both appreciating nicely.

Making pizza for lunch. Accidentally bought turkey pepperoni. I hope this is not as big of a mistake as the time when I bought gluten-free pizza dough.

Afternoon peoples...

Ran a few errands, did laundry... spent a sheitload of money... since they're delivering my furniture (minus the dining set) on the 3rd, they wanted me to actually pay for it. I put 25% down... the rest was due. Even on the stuff that won't be delivered until October. What kinda sheit is that?!

Rhetorical question. Just da way it is, man...

Paying for pizza disproportionately affects blacks and Hispanics.

Woke up to the floor of my nearly new $400 wagon melted onto my new patio. Wife dumped hot ash from the firepit into the plastic wagon. $200 for a new hopper.

Cooking the pork tenderloin I bought yesterday. Gonna try to make some Bahn mi sammiches. Doing a quick pickle on some carrots, onions, and radishes. Chopped up a cucumber and some cilantro for toppings.

Waiting for the Amazon truck to come with my new kitchen scale. Broke my old one dropping it too many times. Once I have that I can start fermenting the habaneros and reapers from the garden to make hot sauce. The salt/brine percentages need to be adjusted by weight not volume.

Anyone else having issues accessing the site on Chrome? It works fine with other browsers but in Chrome it says error too many redirects. I've cleared cache/cookies a few times but it persists for a few weeks now.

Yep... and it blocks trackers and ads n stuff.

CBid has serious issues with the chrome browser right now. Sad, because it's the most popular browser with 65% of the market share in 2022. Bad business practice... but they've been a dumpster fire since... a while ago.
