You most certainly can get rich paying 3% (less the home mortgage deduction) borrowing and investing that money at 10%. Even after capitol gains taxes.

5 days, 2 hours + power outage ended here Sunday somewhere around 6 PM. No power to run the water pump. Record outage for the 42 years I've lived here.

you mean like in 2008-2009, when everything across the board went up in smoke?

that was an extreme anomaly...

long-term investment in securities with diversification have proven to be the best way to build wealth

Not if you invest in the market itself over the long term. What you are talking about is speculation not investing.

Wife was right. There were wasps right outside the back door. I finally saw one. Kept my eye on it and followed it back to the nest which was in the void at the bottom of my storm door. Sprayed wasp foam in there, gonna take it off and remove whats left in a minute.

Went grocery shopping, had to go three places to get everything on the list.

Ground beef 85/15 was $2/lb if you buy 5lbs or more so I got 10. Shrimps on sale for $4/lb but they were sold out.

Work called asking for help tonight. Its not overtime for me so I asked for an extra $100 for the shift if I come in. They said no, so I stay home.

Should've bought something for the smoker since I slept all day. Didn't wake up till 6 so ill be up all night anyway

The wasp nest was pretty small. 9 dead wasps, and 7 wasp larvae loose with some more in the paper nest.

Should be the end of that.

Do you have to kill the wasps? Can’t you mail a Honeymaking Kit to Opie’s MIL?

Internet has been down all day.

Cell signal sucks here - not strong enough to watch YouTube on my phone.

I'm bored.

Morning gents. Came back to the valley yesterday to another blow-out in the bubbler line. Just replaced about 40' on the east side of the house and now going to do the same on the west side. The lines are about 20 years old so it's past time I guess.

Walked for 2 hours. Maps says I covered 6.5 miles.

I need a nap.

2 mile swim this morning. The calorie counter says that burned 889 calories
I'm gonna go undo it all with a big lunch I think

Been going 4-7 miles most days about half in 88-90 degree mornings. Typically lose 2+ lbs per hour but it takes the rest of the day to recharge it.

I'm probably 8 bud lights in right now.

Earlier I stopped by the beer store on my way back from brother in law's house. Picked up some festbiers, should be about cold enough now. Gonna work my way through those tonight.

Lit the WSM, waiting for it to come up to temp and ive got a chicken to go on there.

Been awhile since I put in an 11 hour day. Doing it on four hours sleep is a bigger challenge.

It isn’t coal mining or dairy farming. You end the day with a different kind of stink on ya.
