Hi Trish & Gang,

Is there a way to close the Smiley window on the left? For me personally, I find them annoying. Some might enjoy them, but it is a lot of unnecessary movement that I'd rather not see.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

If you yahoos want to use them, that is all well and good. I just would rather a bunch of emoticons wagging their finger, clapping the hands and slapping their foreheads. I would just like to get them out of my view. 20 minutes on the site and I'm starting to get a headache.

8Track -

You can use the Classic view. Up at the top of the forum, click the VIEW button and select Classic. It gets rid of them on the left while viewing. However, I'm seeing them here as I type the reply.

That might help.Herfing

No more arguments about who has been here the longest or posted the most messages/spam.

I can also edit my post to add those words I always seem to omit.

good idea...............but my momma is at menthol cigarette rehab. SteveR's momma is here though. As soon as I can get her out of bed, dressed, and I find my wide angle lens, I'll change the avatar.

In the meantime, can anyone at CBid explain why I (and others) are unable to change our avatars (and avatards) from the initial hastily selected images??

Wow. You can actually see who has the all-time highest number of posts and which active posters have been on here the longest. The chart of members is sortable.

I did not say no more arguments, just no arguments about who has been here the longest or how many post they have made. There are counts displayed next to your Avatar.

Oh, and my wife is working today, so, yes, I am the boss.Herfing

I see no preference option for setting font size...so we have set a larger font size for every post????? I've maxxed out the zoom on my browser, but if I want to be able to read what I'm typing I have to increase the font size, as far as I can tell.
booooooo

I'll keep looking

Why are the lots in Bid Status listed by the date that you placed the bid and not the closing date? Lot watch items appear to be randomly listed.

Very busy look is annoying.

View, Normal or Classic...Normal or Classic?

Normal, or new, is kind of busy and somewhat annoying. But it has what a lot of people have asked for, avatars, edit, etc.

Classic, well it's classic, quick and dirty.

The jury is still out.
