I've got pan fried calico bass (fresh caught yesterday) on the menu, with a nice green salad.

Prolly around breakfast time. I put it on at 4pm, and it's a 9+ lb shoulder. I'm thinking at 235... 14-16 hours.

Bring ya passport! The fishing around the Islands is just better than fishing the kelp in La Jolla. I've got 2 years of experience now... and I'm getting a little better at finding them most of the time. Learning new tactics, too.

Ya know... it was years ago, probably more than 10, that I recall conversing with AndyTV and Teedub about smokers and barbecue, and wanting to learn how to do it. They both told me it was easy to learn, and I should just get myself a WSM and jump in.

Man... they were correct. It's easy. And delicious.

Yeah. The pork shoulder is done. MmmmmMmmmmmMmmmmm-MMM!

Ok, 2” thick 42 ounce Porterhouse steak, 1 hour of smoke, them grilled to perfection, blood rear, of course, Garlic mashed potatoes, tater salad, 3 salads, and multiple desserts. Dang, we can put on an amazing BBQ!

Morning Thursday fellas.

Wife told me I had to clean the gutters after work. So, I did. Installed gutter grates two years ago, and didn't clean gutters last fall because I figured I'd be good. Nah. Less big sticks n stuff but still needs annuals. Washed it all out with the hose afterward and it's all flowing correctly again.

Gotta go back to work in just 6 hours so should probably go to bed.
