Quick weekend recap. Went to see the boys' first preseason game Friday night. Easy win. Didn't get home until after midnight. Got a call about 5:30 Saturday morning to announce a horseshoe (they forgot to engage one). Saturday plans now spoiled, I went after negotiating payment of a box of Saka's new Todos las Dias and a bottle of Balvenie Caribbean Cask. Had to be there at 8, so no Saturday walk. Done by 2, relaxed with a couple of scotches and a smoke.

Up early to do 6 miles before the United match. Nice to to the team actually playing like Manchester United for the first time in years. Got some stuff done around the house. Now listening to NPR (Reveal) and getting another smoke in.

My puppy dog used to let the boy ride her when he was much smaller. Now she's older and he's too big.

Is that... a thing?

I'd understand carnies a bit more.

I always thought it was the meth.

Perfect summer day here, weather was amazing.
Visited the watchmaker, went for a tough 7 mile hike, has an excellent meeting with business partners about the near future....wrapped with a glass of good red wine and a long conversation
With my favorite family member.

Life is good.

I will have to say my cpap made a huge huge difference in my life. It took me 3 months to get to where I would not fight it in my sleep. Took allot of effort but in the end worth its weight in gold.Applause

a cpap may be just what you need
or maybe just a neti pot
or both!

Rockin and rollin...some nice fish...good size bonito that reminds me of the ones my uncle used to catch off the rocks in Redondo back in the 50's...swells looked a little hairy...

Looks worse than it really was. You've been on the boat... it's small and light, and sensitive to weight distribution.

The swells were probably 2-3 feet on that side, though it doesn't look that bad in the video. On the leeward side it was much less rocky, and when you're moving it is less so. We were stopped fighting that Bonito.

I thought he had come off the hook, but the bastage was headed toward me. Then he saw the boat, and dove... you could see my fishing rod go bendo when he decided to run.

Working from home today, so I got to enjoy a smoke with my coffee this morning. Then proceeded to deal with IT issues prohibiting our overseas team from being able to work. 5 hours later, still troubleshooting. Prolly need another smoke after this gets resolved. May need a drink, too, if it doesn't wrap up quickly.
