not really, it was a pretty constant painful "itch"(itch is not correct, it was more like getting stung by bees)...
Everywhere the rash showed up it felt like bee stings, and the rash was all over my back and chest....and add to the fact that nothing could come into contact or it really set off the pain....and I mean NOTHING, a shirt or sitting so my back touched anything was impossible...took a few weeks before I could lean back in a chair
Smoking did bring the pain level down a notch or two, the pain was sudden and sharp, like a bee sting, so you still got the jolt...the smoking kind of kept it from lingering, but the sudden sharp pain was the worst part....
Also, when talking to the nurse at Dr's. office, she told me to be glad it wasn't on my face....she said that was very very painful.....even the wind on your face can be painful
