The sun is the same in a relative way, but your older...
shorter of breath, and one day closer to death...

Well done Rman. I like the title, too...

That last thread got me thinking about a couple things. A) what do I want to cook today? Some more of that awesome Chili I made, or do I want to smoke a pork shoulder? And 2) Do I want to take the wife on a cruise?

I think the answer to both questions is... yeah.

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar
You're gonna go far, you're gonna fly
You're never gonna die
You're gonna make it if you try
They're gonna love you

Meh? Sometimes I don’t have the words.
Ideally, it would have been late seventies Kathy Ireland or Susan Anton. Had their posters in my room. Carol Alt? Paulina Poriskova.

Yum, yum, yum.

Was obsessed with Kathy Ireland for several years. Salma Hayek in From Dusk til Dawn though? I'd give my life and left nut. Don't even care she was a creepy vampire creature

Them women is OK, and it's a good thing we don't all like the same things.

There are plenty of women that, up close and personal, could make us all write bad checks and commit crimes.

Even evening all things considered.

Bummed Michigan lost.
Fun to see Ohio State struggle.
Mostly enjoyed Norte Dame doing enough to shoo(e) off the Heels.

Short on sleep but pleasantly startled Arsenal won on the road in Leicester.

Fun afternoon and evening with the wife. The whole Florida/Virgin Islands Caribbean is off the table… for now. She wants to see what the world is like in 9 months, re-evaluate at the end of next summer and decide from there.

Told her I might be dead by then.
She smiled. Anxious

Has poise, good vision, is calm, and makes good decisions. Except for going to OSU.

Sun,
(Begrudgingly) That was a quality win against a quality team. Congrats.

I agree on Mich just because I took them in the pick'em
Disagree on struggling, though it was fairly exciting
and feel Stroud has excellent taste in higher education, or NFL vocational training depending on how you look at it

Get Winter riding clothes to ride until it snows or ices- and for earlier in the Spring when it's still cold.
Or, Get an indoor bike stand so you can ride all Winter!
Or, buy a Pelton for like 2K. LOL. I love them, but just can't pull the trigger on that kind of expense...

76F/56F today! Another amazing fall day.

Going to IKEA for a down comforter and to Nordstrom Rack to buy a piece of luggage.

Then, football! Bucks play at like 4:30.

I have ton. Bought prolly $80 worth of variety packs. I'm not one to ration out what the kids want. Only rule is you can only take as much as one hand can grab.

Worst case is I have leftovers and have to eat Snickers and Reeses for a week. Whopper, suck... I hope I don't have leftover Whoppers.

If I was a responsible adult... I'd hand out dental floss, toothpaste, and pencils but I'm not responsible nor claim to be an adult.

My wife always buys a sack of candy just in case we get any trick-or-treaters. We've only one since 2002 and that one was driven to our house by her Mother. Our street is so sparse in houses and too steep driveways to be worth it for kid's candy production.
