So you never said she lied... But said you assume everyone (including her) is full of sh**..... I'm not seeing a difference. And why would you say her statement is full of sh** but not state you think kavanaugh's statement isn't full of sh** ?

Bottom line, none of us know. You appear to be choosing to believe one over the other based on reasons which don't necessarily appear to be logical.

GOP may have brought about a pink wave by their calculated and dismissive handling of the Kavanaugh accusers...there were a lot of women candidates being backed by women voters before, but now...

tomorrow's hearing, where the GOP members of the Senate Judiciary Committee will sit quietly by while their female hired gun queries Ford for a very short time will expose the lack of backbone by the group of old white guys...it will be as plain as the accusatory looks on the GOP senator's faces while the lady prosecutor asks the questions they don't have the balls to ask, that there is no interest on their parts in fact finding or getting to the truth...

Hard to square this rush to judgement by the law and order party and the way the hearing will look to independent voters, because McConnell has proven to be a master politician...maybe this is the GOP plan based on his read of the political landscape...he's thinking our best hope is to get Kavanaugh confirmed because we may not keep the House and/or the Senate, and with it any possibility of getting another judge confirmed...

This one should be easily verified, as the accuser says he beat the two guys up after finding out they assaulted his friend.

This one seems questionable... Mainly because the accuser only knew of the two guys as "Brett" and "Mark"... He only claims that it's kavanaugh because he saw the yearbook photo in the news recently. This isn't someone who travelled in their social circles or could have any reason to accurately identify them... After all these years it's a bit unlikely that he would recognize them from a yearbook photo....

"penetrate" is too nonspecific a word so it must not have happened.

Unless you are describing exactly what body part is going in what body part it's just an opinion as to whether or not I'm getting penetrated....

perhaps fuzzy might be able to serve his/her/its country at this time of uncertainty? He has been shacking up in your hut for a while and is probably energized.

There should not be an investigation.

To do so starts us down yet another rabbit hole. It will prove nearly impossible to seat another justice in the future. Why, because if this stall succeeds it will only pave the way for more stalls. Blame the biddy from California for sitting on this.

Just investigate. It doesn’t take long, it’s not a criminal investigation. It’s what was done before and should be done again. To confirm someone without doing so because a false claim of the future is just a manufactured excuse. Why would you want this guy if any of this is true.

We just had a guy confirmed recently without any of this suggesting this all might just be specific to this guy.

An investigation is not a presumption of guilt. It can actually clear. This would only be a few days fact finding investigation to provide a base for questions not draw conclusion of guilt or innocence. It identifies and talks to multiple involved parties. . It’s standard and routine. It’s odd we are pretending it’s not. It’s the norm.

And if all the info is put on the table (not just asking him and her) and it’s clear she is bunk act accordingly. That will discourage it in the future. This is a farce so far. We don’t need any other witness examination. That will jus encourage future complaints. Weird.

By the way we will and should get a right leaning justice. That’s the presidents prerogative and should be. Regardless of party. I’d guess we’ll get one further to the right.

I don’t get why anyone is digging in for this guy to the extent they will shelve the norm of an investigation for context prior to questioning.

Unsure if there's any relevance, but I have two nagging questions that I don't see much discussion about in the news..

1. Who leaked the Ford assault? I still don't fault Feinstein for keeping a close hold since that's what Ford requested....but who leaked the damn thing?

2. Why did she take that polygraph on Aug 7? I know that nobody seems to be relying on that test (good thing), but I'm curious why, if she was still anonymous and didn't plan for it be public....why the polygraph?

Dems will bring up person after person after person to say something bad about kav and any other conservative white nominee put forward and demand investigation after investigation... The only - only - reason this is being done is the long term goal of preventing trump from seating another conservative justice on the supreme court...

Cons won't risk that happening, so they'll push kav through...
